Born in San Diego, but raised in Houston, 9th Sage learned to appreciate the diversity in music throughout his life. From a young age, Sage has been in love with music and the way it makes him feel and get through life. Music is universal and Sage uses the connection we have to music to spread unity and his personal beliefs to genuinely bringing people together to be free & unite. This allows Sage to expand his mind and indulge in different sounds like soul, electronic, R&B, Hip-hop, world music, lo-fi, the list goes on.
More than a musician, 9th Sage is a genuine soul. His commitment to serving others through his music landed him features in Saint Heron, Cozy Mag, First ear Radio, Souletiquette Radio, Future SNDS, and Einhundert. In August 2017, he took his first tour of Asia, playing alongside the Malaysian based Saturday Selects Collective. He went on to open for Soulection Founder Joe Kay’s 2019 radio tour.
A number of 9th Sage mixes are featured on his website as well as on SaturdaySelects Radio. SaturdaySelects is a creative agency specializing in sharing music from around the world. The 9th/SaturdaySelects productions are relaxed and bright with a number of dance-ready tunes blended in.
