He was born and raised in Houston’s Northside, Acres Home to be exact. Nard grew up loving art, shoes, and basketball. He started by creating his son’s shoes to match a certain outfit, then using those same paints several years later to restore his own shoes. He fell in love with the creative aspect of customizing sneakers. After a steady career path, he took a leap, started Nard Got Sole Customs, and never looked back.

Nard has customized sneakers for Paul Wall, Bun B, Earl Campbell, Slim Thug, Z-Ro, Zion Williamson, Trae the Truth, Peyton Royce of WWE, Flo Rida, Emmanuel Sanders, Pastor John Gray, and more. He’s also collaborated with Reebok, Puma, Houston Astros, Dallas Mavericks and Optima Cigars. He takes their requests, thoughts, and inputs, then brings them to life through the sneakers’ customization.
 
You can also find Nard DJing weddings, Quinceañeras, and other big events, or with his highly accredited standards, tasting various pizzas. In the community he advocates for Dope Active Fathers through motivational speaking. Nard inspires other fathers to be more active in their children's lives to build better bonds. In the very near future, he wants to open a storefront to release his own brands, host events, and collaborate with more brands.
